On the 89th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Day (June 21st, 1925- June 21st, 2014), in the afternoon of June 21st, the PPC, Phu Yen Journalism Association organized the ceremony to award journalism prizes (year 2013).

On reporting on the process of selecting and marking as well as deciding on prizes for entrances at the contest, Journalist Nguyen Van Minh, chairman of the provincial journalism association, lets known: this year’s works entering the contest raise the issues of social care, and be well exploited, like the issue of food safety, difficulties in exploiting oceanic tuna, raising shrimps for export as well as other current affairs…


Addressing at the prize-awarding ceremony, standing deputy secretary of the provincial people’s Party, Mr. Huynh Tan Viet, acknowledged and commended, highly appreciated the contributions of the press in the locality’s social-economic development. Comrade Viet also shared his passion with the press, showing his understanding with the particular features of the journalists, proposing the journalists to nonstop study and enhance the occupational skills, the politics and morality of the journalists to meet the new demands in the new situations; continue to create more quality articles, bearing the high fighting spirits, to contribute to orientating social public opinion; bearing assessment, acknowledging and encouraging the social-economic achievements.


On this occasion, Vietnam Journalism Association awarded the merit certificates to Phu Yen journalism Association for excellently completing the assignment in 2013; presenting 4 commemoration medals for the journalism cause to the individuals. The provincial journalism association presented merit certificate to 2 collectives and 7 members for having excellent achievements in completing the association’s task.
