International visitors to Vietnam increases sharply

According to the National Statistics Department, the number of international tourists is more than 4 million in the first six months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 21 percent.

The total number of foreign visitors to Ho Chi Minh City in the first six months of this year has reached over 2 million, up 9 percent compared to the same period last year.

The room capacity of 3-5 -stars hotels of the city has attained 68.2 percent, up 1.5 percent compared to the previous year.
