New bridge opens to traffic in Rach Gia city

3/2 Bridge officially opens to traffic (VOV)

Nhan Dan Online – The Kien Giang provincial Department of Transport officially opened the 3/2 Bridge in Rach Gia city on April 30.

The opening ceremony was held on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and National reunification in the presence of Politburo member Le Hong Anh, a permanent member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat.

The new bridge measures 325m in length and 18m in width, and was built at a cost of VND276 billion (US$13 million).

The bridge is expected to facilitate transportation and boost socio-economic development in the city.
