Some photos of the album featuring Thuan Thang, a photojournalist at Tuoi Tre newspaper in Vietnam, and his wife Phuong Thao, were shared on the Facebook page “옷깃만 스쳐도 인연 아니냐?” on April 9 and quickly liked by more than 50,000 users and over 20,000 comments were left under them after only two days.

Each picture has also received from 100 to 300 likes. A lot of Korean netizens have flocked to the page to give compliments on the album’s cuteness, purity, and simplicity.

Before going viral in Korea, the photo album had blown the minds of Vietnamese netizens who have so far showed their admiration for the couple by generously giving thousands of likes and sweet comments on the social networking site, as well as shared it all over the Internet.

Speaking about his well-known wedding album, the 27-year-old journalist Thang who just got married last month said he had not imagined that things would go that far.

The album comprises more than 100 photos cherry-picked from around 600 pictures taken on Binh Ba Island in the central province of Khanh Hoa about 10 days before his wedding organized on March 29, Thang said.

It depicts the 26-year-old bride and groom, in wedding costumes, enjoying their very daily moments like drinking “tra da” (iced tea) on the street or together making fishing nets.

“We hoped to have a wedding album as ordinary and ‘close to’ our daily life as possible. We simply wanted to keep everything the most natural way,” said Thang, whose wife is a host for a national radio station program.

The photojournalist added that they meant the album to capture their “happiest moments” rather than the two’s “prettiest postures.”

“Our real-life wedding ceremony ended but our Facebook wedding has lasted longer than we thought,” the young husband said, referring to the photo collection still circulated over the social network up to now.

Nguyen Bao Quan, the album’s photographer who is also a friend of Thang, said what has made the album many people’s cup of tea is the reflection of the bride and groom as who they really are.

“I think one of the most important factors in wedding photography is the harmony between the groom, the bride, and the shooting team, which will help find the style that suits the couple the most,” Quan said.

“I know this couple and how dynamic and young they are, so we discussed the idea together to create an album in which they would be the way they are,” the photographer said. “A wedding album proper must be the one that brings out the bride and groom’s personality.”

Below are some photos from the bridal album of Thuan Thang and Phuong Thao taken by photographer Nguyen Bao Quan:
