Dancers to add colour to Hue Festival

Nhan Dan Online – Hundreds of Vietnamese and foreign dancers will perform at the International Dance Festival, scheduled for April 14 – 18 in Thua Thien – Hue province as part of the upcoming 2014 Hue Festival.

Sixteen Vietnamese troupes and nine foreign troupes from Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia, China, Mongolia, Hungary, Palestine and the Republic of Korea will perform at the dance festival.

A five-member jury, including three Vietnamese and two foreign representatives will judge their performances.

The festival, held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, provides a good venue for Vietnamese dancers to exchange professional skills with their foreign colleagues so that they can produce more high-quality artworks for the audiences.
