Da Lat is planning to open another pedestrian-only area near Lam Vien Square

Authorities in the Central Highlands resort city of Da Lat are working on a plan to establish another pedestrian-only area in the city center.

The plan includes portions of Tran Quoc Toan Street near Lam Vien Square and Xuan Huong Lake.

The city authorities plan to organize traditional art displays and performances along the newly planned walkway, which is scheduled to open on Friday and Saturday nights starting later this month.

They will also allow food and souvenir vendors to open stalls along the street.

Currently, the area around the Da Lat night market is restricted to pedestrians during weekend evenings, and has become a highlight of Da Lat’s allure.
