Two Vietnamese citizens named in 2014 Young Global Leaders

The Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy, Nguyen Hoang Long, and the architect Vo Trong Nghia have been included in a list of 214 people for the Global Young Leaders 2014.

Those named on the list were selected out of thousands of candidates from around the world. They are all younger than 40 and have achieved success in their fields.


According to the WEF, ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long, 38, is the youngest Vietnam’s ambassador named in the list so far.


Meanwhile, the architect, Vo Trong Nghia, the founder of Vo Trong Nghia Company, has won a number of architecture prizes. Recently, his work “Binh Thanh House” received the first prize for the category of “housing” in the selection of “Building of the Year 2014″ held by the US’s Archdaily website.
