Nearly 26 billion VND has been approved by PPC’s Chairman for the project of building a new resettlement for people who handed over their home land to project of Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park.
The would-be-built 3.5 hectare-residential area is to locate in The Loi village, Tinh Phong commune, Son Tinh district and will cost a total of about 25.7 billion VND.
Earlier Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee held a meeting with relevant leaders raising methods ensuring a stable livelihood for replaced people.
Reportedly, over 1,872 households, about 7,676 people, in two communes of Tinh Phong and Tinh Tho will need to be relocated. Of those, it is necessary to create jobs for about 2,760 people.
As released by VSIP representative, seven investors licensed in the zone made a request of recruiting about 5,000 workers by 2015, and high-skilled workers would be most wanted for foreign investors.
To prepare a skilled human resource for employers in the coming up months, the necessary work, as raised by delegates at the meeting, is to push up vocational training for local laborers.
