Nhan Dan Online – A wide variety of large-scale cultural and tourist activities were held on March 15 and 16 in Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province as part of the 2014 Central Highlands National Tourism Year.

A festival was held to commemorate the victory of Bahnar ethnic minority people with the participation of more than 50 artists. The festival teaches visitors about the spiritual life of the Bahnar people and how they have overcome hunger and natural disasters.

Over 50 J’rai and Bahnar artisans carved figures into wood at a wooden statue sculpture festival.

A journalistic and artistic photography exhibition, as well as a cooking competition, was also held over the weekend.
