A seminar on promoting the values of President Ho Chi Minh heritage associated with tourism development at President Ho Chi Minh memorials and museums has taken place in the central city of Hue.
The event was held by Ho Chi Minh museum, in coordination with the central Thua Thien – Hue provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Thua Thien – Hue province-based Ho Chi Minh museum. As many as 43 writings by researchers from museums and institutes nationwide were sent to the seminar.
Writings focused on the role of President Ho Chi Minh memorials and museums in the socio-cultural and political life at present, and the preservation and promotion of the values of President Ho Chi Minh heritage in the system of museums and relics related to President Ho Chi Minh.
There are 663 relics related to the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. Thirty seven of them were recognized as national heritage. Five of them were recognized as special national heritages. Over the past year, the system of the museums and memorial relics related to President Ho Chi Minh nationwide has an important role and position in people’s cultural and spiritual life.
The seminar was an opportunity for leaders, managers and researchers to share experiences in the preservation and promotion of the values of museums and memorials related to President Ho Chi Minh, association with tourism to become an attractive destination for Vietnamese people and international friends./.
