The trio Samir Barris
Nhan Dan Online -Samir Barrris, a musical trio from Belgium, are scheduled to perform three concerts in Hanoi, Hue City and Ho Chi Minh City on March 15, 17 and 19
The trio consists of guitarist and vocalist Samir Barris; violist, harp player and backup vocalist, Margaret Hermant; and contrabass player and backup vocalist Nicholas Yates.
During their tour of Vietnam, the trio will perform famous works by French poets, set to music by singer Samir Barris.
The concerts are organised as part of celebrations for the International Day of Francophonie (March 20).
Performances will take place at the Youth Theatre at 11 Ngo Thi Nham street in Hanoi, at the Hue City Cultural Centre at 65 Tran Hung Dao street and at IDECAF at 31 Thai Van Lung, in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
