HA NOI (VNS) — Customs officials in Ha Noi’s Noi Bai International Airport have seized more than 250 mobile phones being smuggled from South Korea.

The cache was hidden in the luggage of a female passenger from South Korea. Most of the mobile phones were well-known brands, such as iPhone, LG and Nokia.

The value of the seized goods remained unknown.

The woman, who was from the northern Hai Duong Province’s Kim Xuyen Commune, did not declare them to customs.

The passenger and her luggage have been detained for further investigation. — VNS
