Int’l visitors to Vietnam in February estimated 850.000 arrivals

(Cinet)- International visitors to Vietnam in February 2014 estimated 843,000 arrivals, increase 47.60% over the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office.

Accordingly, the number of international visitors visiting Viet Nam by air was 647,233; by sea: 15,241 arrivals; by road: 179,552 arrivals.

Total international arrivals in 2 months reached 1,6 million arrivals, increase 33,4% over the same period last year.

This is a good sign for Vietnam tourism sector. In 2014 Vietnam National Administration of Tourism will push e- marketing up, applying IT to popularizing to stimulate tourism development, specially aiming at large markets, key markets so that is draws international tourists.
