NDO – The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade launched a tourism promotion festival on November 7, drawing attention from a large number of local citizens as well as domestic and international tourists.
The two-day event features 46 pavilions representing 37 travel agencies, including many large trademarks: Hanoitourist, UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club, Vietjet Air and the Centre for Malaysia Tourism Promotion.
Alongside the goal of advertising their brands, participating tourism enterprises are also offering many promotion programmes, discount tours and discount airfares.
Over 500 preferential quality tours and thousands of discounted flight tickets are available during the festival, bringing ideal opportunities for Hanoi citizens to experience interesting tours to attractive destinations in Vietnam and other countries.
The event is a highlight in a series of activities held under the 2015 Hanoi Sales Promotion Month, aiming to stimulate and promote the image of Hanoi’s tourism sector to visitors from both at home and abroad, according to Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade.
The festival is expected to give a boost to the tourism growth of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam as a whole in the year-end period.
