The result is a lack of vitamin D group that had higher levels of inflammatory substances, related to cardiovascular disease and a number of other inflammatory diseases, such as multiple sclerosis (disease of the nervous system causes gradual paralysis), inflammatory articulation.


“Research showed that vitamin D can help maintain the health of immune system and bones” study author Mary Ward of the University of Ulster said.


According to Dr. Ward, supplement of enough vitamin D for body can help improve immune function.


Sunbath for 10-15 minutes a day will help skin synthesize vitamin D for the body. Vitamin D is also found in milk, eggs , fish and etc.


This study is published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.
