Trang unveils new hot springs destination

The funding came from the government’s Thai Niyom Yung Yuen. The project utilized 200,000 baht that was given to construct two outdoor wells that are 3 meters wide, 6 meters long, and between 50 and 80 centimeters deep. The temperature of the wells is around 38-40 degrees Celsius. The hot springs are open to customers from 11 am to 3 pm.

Hot springs can promote healing for people with numbness, tendinitis, and joint ailments, in addition to improving skin health.

The new attraction is located in Ban Kuan Sra around 40 kilometers from the city of Trang. Signs are posted to direct visitors to the hot springs.

Advisor to the province’s marine conservation group, Abdulrahim Jaisamutsays the site has been around for 100 years and has been widely used by local residents. However, the area was never properly developed into an attraction until now.
