The application is set to help connect residents, tourists, businesses and state management agencies.
Visitors can now use their smartphone or computer to receive instant information about tourist attractions, accommodation, the best places to go shopping and popular restaurants in Da Lat through the portal dalatcity.org.
The launch of the app is part of a range of activities under the project to turn Da Lat into a smart tourism city and part of a series of wider events to welcome the 125th anniversary of the establishment and development of Da Lat city.
Currently, visitors can connect to the Internet at a number of places in Da La through the smart LED lighting system which has been installed by a Korean business in Da Lat’s night market, the Hoa Binh area, Ong Dao bridge, and Lam Vien Square.
Free wi-fi network in the centre of Da Lat is able to meet the demand of 20,000 users and the network will continue to expand to other areas in the near future
