“Israel of Vietnam”
Ninh Thuan and Israel have many similarities in geographical terms. Although a large part of the Middle East country’s territory is desert, Israel is leading the world in agricultural productivity. Similar to Israel, Ninh Thuan, coastal province of Vietnam, is home to many clean and organic agricultural crops such as aloe vera, asparagus, garlic, and apple.

Thanks to dry weather conditions, favorable humidity and low rainfall, in association with rich alluvial soil, local people in the province have been able to exploit available natural advantages to develop effective models of growing grapes. The annual Grapes and Wine Festival is the rendezvous of grape growers and people who love this type of drink.
The unique landscape
Not many places in Vietnam can offer tourists a diverse landscape like Ninh Thuan province. Along coastal route 702 connecting Phan Rang – Thap Cham to Vinh Hy Bay, visitors will see immense sand dunes like deserts, Nui Chua National Park with rocks and primitive forests, and rocky beach in Hang Rai, Mui Dinh.
The road between mountains and sea leading to vineyards and salt fields is the most romantic coastal road in Vietnam. On the journey to discover Ninh Thuan, visitors may not feel the scorching sun, but enjoy cool wind blowing from the sea, and a comfortable dry air.
One of the 18 marine areas of Upwelling in the world

In addition to its diverse terrains and attractive landscapes, Ninh Thuan sees one of the most unique natural phenomena that only occurs in few marine areas in the world – Upwelling (an oceanographic phenomenon that involves wind-driven motion of dense, cooler, and usually nutrient-rich water towards the ocean surface, replacing the warmer, usually nutrient-depleted surface water).
Formed by the regeneration of phytoplankton, this stream contributes to bringing an expensive value in terms of quality and variety of seafood, and produce nutritional salt from the deep water layer.
This unique marine phenomenon has formed many famous salt-making areas in the country such as Ca Na, Phuong Cuu, and Dam Vua.
Pristine and simple beauty
Ninh Thuan is famous for many beautiful destinations such as MuiDinh, HaiRai with many unexpected surprises waiting for travelers to come and explore.
With some energy to cross sandy banks, visitors can reach MuiDinh beach with pure water.
Many tourists may choose to wake up early to welcome dawn at Ninh Chu beach; others can enjoy a fresh air of fishing port and go fishing with fishermen.
If one wants to learn about the process of making wine, just greet local owners of vineyards with a smile and ask questions, they will tell the details of their work. They also can learn how to cook seafood from a fisherman or know how produce salt as well as how to evaluate the quality of salt by talking to salt farmers.
The people in Ninh Thuan are so hospitable and friendly, which leaves a deep impression on visitors. However you should come to admire this beautiful land as soon as possible before the changes start in this intact region.
