(TITC) – In the framework of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the APEC nations build a project on APEC Tourism Occupational Standards co-funded by the governments of Australia and Peru.
The project aims to support 21 economies in the broad APEC agendas of technical cooperation and skilled labour mobility which is operated by Australian Government in one-year period and scheduled to finish by June 2017.
Up to March 2017, there are draft competency standardizations and job descriptions of 6 occupations in Bar Attendant, Cook, Event Coordinator, Front Desk Attendant, Housekeeper and Travel Consultant built by 6 APEC economies of Australia, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Peru and Viet Nam.
