The way of making the Chinese floating dumpling is similar to that of Vietnamese o­ne. However, the specialty is the process of preparing ginger mixture. White refined sugar is replaced with sugar candy, which has the original taste of sugar cane, reddish brown color and is boiled in ginger mixture. People can serve this dish with ground peanuts. A bowl of real Chinese floating dumpling includes two balls as big as two eggs of small fowl. The stuffing includes green bean mixed with sugar and ground black sesame.
