Two leading travel companies Saigontourist and Fiditour have launched latest tours with lots of promotions for guests to choose during the Lunar New Year, or Tet.

Saigontourist Travel Service Co. is running a promotion program until March 3, 2017 which offers prizes for lucky guests including a five-star cruise tour package for two people, a gift voucher worth VND100 million and much more.

Tourists can select their favorite trips among more than 300 inbound and outbound tours during the Lunar New Year time. Bookings can be made at transaction offices or branches of Saigontourist or at www.dulichtet.com.

Boisterous Tet in hometown

For inbound tours during Tet, tourists can go sightseeing while indulging in the traditional festive atmosphere in the three regions of Vietnam. In the central region, aside from familiar destinations like Hue, Danang and Hoi An, tourists should also visit Cham Islet, Truoi Lake, Zen Monastery, Bach Ma Mountain and Ba Na Hills among others.

Three-to-five-day tours to the central region by plane at prices from VND3.799 million and two-to-four-day tours at prices from VND2.529 million both depart from January 29 to February 1 (from the second to the fifth day of the Lunar New Year). The prices exclude air fares.

In recent years, travelers to the northern region preferred the Hanoi-Ninh Binh-Ha Long heritage tour because of the rich local culture, beautiful natural scenery and peaceful countryside. This year, the company will offer tours to Sapa to allow tourists to enjoy the cold weather in the northernmost area and discover the culture of ethnic minorities. Tourists can also experience the stunning Mai Chau Valley in Hoa Binh Province, and admire plum and peach trees in full bloom on the way to Moc Chau Plateau in Son La Province.

Tet is also the time tourists and their families should enjoy private and convenient spaces. Fiditour is going to offer Lunar New Year tours in a program entitled “Travel in Spring and Win Gold.”

Customers booking tours at Fiditour until January 16 will have a chance to win one first prize being a tael of SJC gold, five second prizes being three-tenth of a SJC gold tael, and 10 third prizes – one-tenth of a gold tael and lucky money.

The program applies to individual customers, groups and those who buy air tickets. With a bill worth from VND5 million, customers will be able to take part in a lucky draw to win one of the aforementioned prizes.

In aition, Fiditour also offers incentives. Particularly, Fiditour will offer a discount of VND100,000 for groups of three to five guests, VND150,000 for groups of six to nine guests, and higher discounts for groups of more than 10 people. The company will offer a discount of VND1 million, VND1.5 million and VND2.5 million for customers booking two, three and four months in advance, respectively.
