Somerset Chancellor Court Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Somerset Chancellor Court recently hosted a ceremony to celebrate its 20th operation anniversary in Vietnam. Distinguished guests included Madam Leow Siu Lin, Singaporean Consul General in HCM City, and 200 customers, partners and media agencies.
After 20 years of operation, Somerset Chancellor Court has won many medals and orders, particularly the Third-class Labour Order bestowed by the President of Vietnam in 2013, the Certificate of Appreciation for Excellent Personnel by the Prime Minister, the “Best Serviced Apartment Brand in the World” title by World Travel Awards 2016, and Golden Dragon Award for Best Apartments in nine straight years.
Ms Liew Yen Ping, General Manager, said, “2016 marks 20 years of success of Somerset Chancellor Court in the serviced apartment segment – 20 consecutive years with the occupancy rate of 90 per cent, thus bringing in good returns for Ascott Residence Trust and Ben Thanh Corporation. I would like to express my gratitude to all valued customers and partners for their steadfast support as well as to our staff, especially to those who have dedicated for all 20 years.”
Managed by The Ascott Limited, Somerset Chancellor Court, a joint venture between Ascott and Ben Thanh Corporation that went into official operation in 1996, provides accommodation services for customers. In 2016, The Ascott Limited signed management contracts for additional 1,500 apartments in Vietnam, bringing the total service to more than 4,000 apartment units in seven provinces and cities throughout the country, thus securing its leadership in serviced apartment segment in Vietnam.
