Established 4 years ago, Viet Nam Tourism Forum (VTF) in Nha Trang has become one of useful playgrounds of tourism makers in the beach city.

Members of VTF Nha Trang have just paid a visit to 3D picture gallery at CoopMart Nha Trang. After the visit, some travel firms have planned to put this gallery into their tour program as a destination in Nha Trang. So far this year, VTF Nha Trang has hosted many surveys at some spots like Nhan Tam Ecological Tourist Site, Hon Giao stone stream, etc and some restaurants, hotels in Nha Trang.
According to Ta Kinh Dong, from the executive board of VTF Nha Trang, visits and surveys on destinations and tourist products in the province have helped members connected more closely. Then they have chances to introduce, share and use products of each other in their business. Member of VTF Nha Trang also can exchange with members of VTFs nationwide. Members of VTF Nha Trang meet each other every Thursday to exchange and join social activities, Dong revealed.
Over 4 years from August, 2012, VTF Nha Trang has 60 members now that are representatives from travel companies, hotels, restaurants, tourist spots and tourist businesses in Nha Trang. This is a non-profit forum. No fees are charged for members. It’s useful for businesses to join it. “It’s useful to me as well as my business. Connecting with other businesses and using products of each other have made us try to improve products’ quality and keep stable prices which is good for businesses as well as consumers”, said Nguyen Thi Lien Anh, from Lien Thanh Co., Ltd.
Vo Duc Thinh, director of BB Travel & Event Co., Ltd also shared that, “Joining VTF Nha Trang has helped our company sign many contracts with other members. We also have learned a lot of practical experience from other members.”
According to Permanent Vice-chairman of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association Nguyen Van Thanh, VTF Nha Trang should develop more members to increase the forum’s effects. VTF Nha Trang also may launch own product packages to introduce to partners and tourists.
