Currently, Vietjet Air and Jetstar Pacific are operating charter flights from 15 Chinese cities to Nha Trang.

Accroding to the representative, the delegation has been researching tourism potential and infrastructure in Cat Ba (Hai Phong), with the aim of launching new charter flights to Hai Phong.

Speaking at the meeting, Director General Nguyen Van Tuan informed that the number of Chinese visitors to Viet Nam, especially to Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Da Nang has increased after Viet Nam organized tourism roadshows in Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu in October 2015. He hoped that upcoming promotional campaigns of Viet Nam held in other Chinese localities would continue to attract the attention of Chinese tourism enterprises and media agencies.

In addition to Nha Trang, Chinese enterprises should open tours to other localities in Viet Nam such as Ha Noi – Hai Phong – Ha Long Bay – Trang An (Ninh Binh Province); Da Nang – Hoi An – Hue; Binh Dinh – Phu Yen – Ninh Thuan – Binh Thuan… These tourism destinations are famous with beautiful nature, world heritage sites and quality services, said Tuan.
