The PPC's Vice Chairman Le Quang Thich speaks at the press meeting
On February 24, Vice Chairman of the PPC Le Quang Thich chaired a press meeting with press agencies inside and outside the province on the 110th birth anniversary of the late PM Pham Van Dong (01 March 1906-2016) in Quang Ngai province.
According to Director of the provincial department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Dang Vu, so far, the preparation for the event has been basically completed.
Before, during and after the event, many cultural and art activities will be conducted such as visual communication; showing films about the late PM Pham Van Dong with Quang Ngai province; putting up PM Pham Van Dong statue at Pham Van Dong University; national conference on the PM Pham Van Dong’s life and career; art performance; etc.
The incense offering ceremony will be started at 7.00am on 01 March 2016 at the late PM Pham Van Dong Commemorative Area. The anniversary ceremony is organized at 8.00pm the same day and will be live broadcasted on VTV, VOV and PTQ.
Speaking at the press meeting, the PPC's Vice Chairman Le Quang Thich stressed the important meaning of the 110
th birth anniversary of PM Pham Van Dong towards the people and authorities of Quang Ngai province in particular and Vietnam in general. Meanwhile, Thich urged related units to focus on the propaganda work about PM Pham Van Dong’s life and career as well as introduce Quang Ngai’s images and people to visitors.
Thich also added that this event is an opportunity to educate the young generations about the revolutionary tradition, patriotism, and national construction and defense.
