Miura invited to coach Quang Ninh Coal

HA NOI (VNS) — Quang Ninh Coal FC President Pham Thanh Hung has confirmed that he has invited former national head coach Toshyia Miura to work with his team in the coming season.

It is reported that the Japanese coach could receive someUS$15,000 per month as a salary, similar to what he was paid by the Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF), if he agrees to the offer.

Miura has returned to his home town after spending several days visiting friends throughout the country, and said he would think about the offer and deliver an answer soon.

Miura was fired last month, two months before the end of his contract with the VFF.

Quango Ninh Coal is home to many national players, includingdefender Nguyen Thanh Hien and Vu Minh Tuan, as well as those belonging to the U19 and U21 squads.

The V.League 2016 will kick off on February 20. — VNS
