Hoi An free for lunar new year

Hoi An Town will waive ticket fees for visitors during the lunar new year.

The Centre for Culture and Sports of Hoi An has asked for tourist facilities from February 6 to 10 to remain open. The authorities also decided to pedestrian for between February 3 to 10.

Many activities have been held to celebrate new year including Binh Than Flower Market, Lantern Festival, boat racing and fireworks on the New Year Eve.

Tourists in Hue

Director of the Hue Relics Preservation Centre Phan Thanh Hai announced that only domestic visitors and overseas Vietnamese would be given free entrance to the palaces and other sites from February 8 to 10. Tourists can participate in folk games or enjoy dragon dances and Hue court music during the visit.

Hue authorities aim to welcome 3.3 million of domestic and international arrivals in 2015, an increase of 18 percent on last year.
