The airline of the United Arab Emirates announced on Thursday that it will launch daily flights connecting Dubai and Hanoi this August 3 as part of a plan to expand its network in Southeast Asia.
The new flights will last about 12 hours, including one and half hours in transit at Myanmar’s Yangon, according to Emirates’ announcement on its website.
Entering Vietnam in 2012, Emirates currently operates one passenger route to Ho Chi Minh City and one cargo-only service to Hanoi.
With the new route, Emirates’ network in Southeast Asia will expand to 12 cities in seven countries.
