Central Highlands culture shines in Hanoi

The essence of the traditional culture of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands was showcased at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology in Hanoi on February 13.

The programme, jointly organised by the Museum and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kon Tum province draw crowds of visitors and local residents.

Visitors were lured by traditional practices, songs, dances, and folk games of the ethnic minority groups of Xo Dang, Brau, Si La, Ede, H’mong and Ba Na, performed by Kon Tum artisans.

During the event, visitors had opportunities to exchange with experts on these ethnic minorities, played traditional music instruments, joined folk games and art performances, and enjoyed the ethnics’ signature food.
