Mr. Le Quynh Mai, Deputy General Director of Deo Ca Investment JSC, said: Until now, contractors have drilled more than 3,200 out of 4,125m tunnel. As scheduled for May 2016, Deo Ca tunnel will be open to traffic engineering. The contractors are also focused on completing the lane, bridge on the route and other items so as to put Ca Pass and Co Ma Pass tunnels into operation in 2017. For Cu Mong tunnel, Deo Ca Investment JSC will try to finish a basement garage so that vehicles can flow in the shortest time.
Being started in the end of 2013, after nearly two years of urgent implementation, the project of upgrading and expanding Highway 1 running through Phu Yen has been open to traffic engineering.
