In the first month of the new year, Dong Thap province welcomed 94, 000 travelers, increasing 17, 6 percent over the same period of last year with total turnover of VND 24 billion, reported the People’s Committee of Dong Thap province on February 13.

Accordingly, grave of Nguyen Sinh Sac who was father of Uncle Ho or late State President Ho Chi Minh, Sa Dec flower village, Xeo Quyt revolutionary base and Gao Giong ecological tourist area are the most favorite destinations for domestic and international tourists during Tet holidays.
In order to boost the regional tourism, Dong Thap opened additional tours to visit flower crops at Tram Chim National Park and Lai Vung mandarin garden.
This year, Dong Thap is expected to welcome around 2, 3 million visitors with its total turnover of VND 430 billion.
