According to the project’s investor, Vingroup, work started on the 500-hectare Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc in September 2015 as part of the Vinpearl Phu Quoc tourism complex in the north of the island.
In the first phase of the project, 380 hectares of primitive forest has been developed into an open zoo and a safari park. Visitors can see wild animals like Bengal tigers, Arabian gazelles, and black and white Lemur catta and especially rare animals including 200 red storks, 100 rhinos and 60 giraffes.
The venue has a quarantine center for animals, a shopping street and one of the largest pet clinics in Southeast Asia. Tourists can also watch performances by animals there.
