After a week of competition, the 2015 HCMC Open Women Press Futsal Championships – Number One Cup marking Vietnamese Women Day (October 20) finished successfully on October 25.

As the final result, Quang Tuyen Sport Company won the championship after beating 5- 4 against Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV).
Host team- Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper defeated Fan Chelsea with a victory of 4- 2 to earn bronze medal.
Moreover, the organization board offered the title for football player scored most goals, excellent goalkeeper and Miss Futsal.
Accordingly, Do Thi Ngoc Linh from Quang Tuyen Sport Company excellently received the title for football player scored most goals.
The title for excellent goalkeeper went to Nguyen Bao Linh from Office of HCMC People’s Committee.
‘Miss Futsal’ title belonged to Pham Ngoc Phuong Linh from Ho Chi Minh City Television.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Deputy Editor in Chief of Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper and head of the organization board Nguyen Thanh Loi said: “Although this is the first year that Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper hosted HCMC Open Women Press Futsal Championship, the competition attracted eight teams. With the successful competitive season, the program is expected to be an annual competition for women’s reporters”.
