(Photo: hanoi.gov.vn) The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports on October 23rd opened a photo exhibition with the theme on proud to forward under the flag of the Party to welcome the 16th Hanoi Party Congress and the 12th National Party Congress. With more than 80 photos, the exhibition reviews the continuous development of the Hanoi Party Committee as well as the development of the capital. It also displayed precious documents about congresses, historical landmarks of the Hanoi Party Committee; achievements and medals the city achieved as well as impressive data on the socio-economic situation of the capital. In addition, the exhibition also introduced documentary film “Previous Congresses” including 15 parts, recording historical ways and congresses of the Hanoi Party Committee. At the opening ceremony, Mr. To Van Dong, Head of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, affirmed that to be proud of the glorious past, the honourable present, we have more energy to enter a new period, thoroughly grasping opportunities, overcoming challenges, promoting emulation movements, promoting Thang Long spirit to build the capital more beautifully and prosperously.
