Cambodian Culture Week to take place in HCM City and Soc Trang

PANO – From November 8th to 14th, the 2015 Cambodian Culture Week in Vietnam will take place in Ho Chi Minh City and Soc Trang province.

A 35-member delegation from Cambodia, including leaders and artists, led by Ms. Menh Kossony, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, will attend this special event, which is jointly organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.

During the week, the Cambodian participants will perform a number of artistic performances and showcase fine arts works in different exhibitions.

This cultural event will be a good chance to boost cultural exchanges and introduce traditional features of Cambodian arts to Vietnamese, and at the same time will contribute to consolidating the solidarity and long-lasting friendship between the two neighbouring countries of Vietnam and Cambodia.
