Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thu, Deputy Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, let known, the PPC has approved the investment policy for the project of Recovering, embellishing the National Historic Relic of Thi Thung Mound Tunnels (An Xuan commune, Tuy An district).
Thi Thung Mound Tunnel
The project includes building the reception room, managing and displaying pictures, artifacts in anti-American army war, with an area of about 154m2; public toilets for visitors of around 34m2; installing systems of electricity, water supply and some other items. The total investment is about VND 1.5 billion from the national-target-program funding on culture.
This project is aimed at serving the journey of coming back to the original, learning about the traditions of revolutionary struggle of the young generations and also a destination of visiting the old battlefield for tourists from everywhere. The project is expected to be implemented in 2015.
