PANO – The establishment of Khanh Hoa University was announced on September 18th by merging Nha Trang Pedagogical College and Nha Trang College of Culture, Arts and Tourism. This decision was taken by the Prime Minister.

The university is a public higher educational institution placed under the management of the People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa province. The total personnel on the payroll of the university is now 386, including 305 teachers. Among them are 1 associate professor, 21 doctors, 190 master degree holders and 93 bachelors. At present, 30 and 27 teaching staff of the university are undergoing PhD and master research programs respectively..
As planned, in Phase I (2015-2020), Khanh Hoa University will offer 8 training programs of Vietnam Studies, Cultural Management, Engineering Physics, Traditional Musical Performance, Travel Management, IT, English Language, and Russian Language. In Phase II (2021-2025), another 5 subjects will be added, namely Social Work, Sports and Physical Training Management, Law, Western Musical Performance, and Hotel Administration.
