Toyota Concert held in Thanh Hoa for first time

PANO – The Toyota Concert 2015 took place for the first time at Lam Son Theatre in Thanh Hoa province on August 13th as part of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19th) and National Day (September 2nd) and respond to the 2015 National Tourism Year-Thanh Hoa.

The concert was performed by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji.

At the event, local audiences enjoyed Vietnamese lyrical music praising the country and classic masterpieces by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Charles-Camille.

Thanh Hoa province is the final destination of the Toyota Concert 2015 after Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

All proceeds from selling tickets are donated to a foundation “Toyota scholarship for Vietnamese young music talents”.
