(Cinet)- Notice No.3091/TB-BVHTTDL on July 30 of Minister at the first session of the Direction Board and the Organization for National Tourism Year 2016.

On July 24, 2015 in Hanoi, the Direction Board and the Organization Board for National Tourism Year 2016 organized the first session to implement some preparations for National Tourism Year 2016.

Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as head of the Board made a summary as follows:

– Highly appreciating some decisions, efforts to prepare for National Tourism Year 2016 in Kien Giang.

National Tourism Year is a chance to propagandize tourism and continue to enhance international and domestic tourists to develop tourism of Kien Giang and some locals. Organizing the event aims to enhance economic development and increase more awareness of some levels and agencies.

The event should ensure a national scale, create more attraction for tourist, especially pays attention to enhance new products and implements some tours; inspect service quality to ensure security of the environment.

About name of National Tourism Year 2016: Approving for “National Tourism Year 2016 – Mekong river in Kien Giang” with a theme of ” Discovering Phuong Nam land”.

About program: entrusting Tourism Administration and Kien Giang province as well as some relevant agencies to fulfill the project and submit to the Minister.

In the up-coming time, some general departments and agencies should focus on:

– Some general departments, departments and agencies should continue to associate with Kien Giang to inspect some detail tasks to participate into the National Tourism Year 2016. Some ministerial sectors should positively use the anual budget in National Tourism Year 2016. The General Department should supplement some activities to participate into the National Tourism Year 2016 such as organizing the training course about tourism.

– Entrusting Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition and Kien Giang province to fulfill logo and slogan in National Tourism Year 2016 to prepare for the press seminar; organizing composing camp of photography, sculpture and fine arts in Mekong Delta to welcome National Tourism Year 2016; approving for a proposal of Basic Cultural Department to organize some activities “the Southern traditional cake festival 2016″.

– Entrusting International Cooperation Department to carry out some international activities such as Vietnamese cultural days in Japan, South Korea” to introduce tourism of Mekong Delta; inviting Minister to participate into the opening ceremony including Laos, Cambodia, South Korea, Japan, Russia, Thailand, Myanmar and some countries of the EU.

Some activities in Kien Giang and relevant provinces:

– Proposing Kien Giang to host to work with some relevant provinces to participate into the event. The province should positively increase more awareness of people about target, meaning and importance of National Tourism Year 2016 to build Plan and action for National Tourism Year 2016.

– Proposing some provines in Mekong Delta and relevant provinces to inspect some events to participate into the National Tourism Year 2016; establishing and developing a role of the Direction Board to organize some activities in locality to enjoy National Tourism Year 2016.

About introducing National Tourism Year 2016: Some activities of propaganda and introduction of National Tourism Year 2016 should be implemented as regulated.

Organizing the press seminar for National Tourism Year 2016 in Hanoi, Da Nang and HCM City.

– Entrusting Tourism Administrative and Kien Giang province to propose the Direction Board and the Organization Board to invite Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment; Ministry of Security to participate. Some agencies and sectors should associate with Tourism Administration, Kien Giang Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; entrusting the Organization Board to establish the sub-group of health and environment. Some sub-groups should positively carry out out some relevant activities to prepare the National Tourism Year 2016.

Organizing the second session of the Direction Board and the Organization Board of National Tourism Year 2016: Organizing in Phu Quoc, Kien Giang province on November, 2015 to prepare for National Tourism Year 2016.

Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism informs and proposes the Committee and People’s Committee and some members to organize in an effective way.
