Developing reading in a community in 2015-2020

(Cinet)- Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a seminar to give Draft for Project of reading culture in a community in 2015-2020 and orientation of 2030.

At the seminar, some delegates gave some opinions for Project, focusing on some contents such as fulfilling and developing library system; equipping some skill and forming some habits of reading book s for the youth; building some document to develop reading for teacher at school; increasing material life for library cadre. Duuong Thuy Nga stated that developing reading skill aims to receive some knowledge of humanity, enriching ability for them. Developing a reading skill and culture contributes to build a studying society to enhance human resource of the country.

The State should be responsible for creating more condition for people to read book and participate into building a reading environment. Developing the reading skill creates condition for people to access information and knowledge and enrich for them.

Target to 2020, it is expected that 95% library at provincial level is home to head office, a modern equipment and 50 % library at district is the same; 30% family belongs their own bookcase. The Draft enhances to associate with some relevant agencies of reading culture.
