VGP – The Argentina Travel & Tourist Agents Association and the Vietnamese Embassy in Buenos Aires have held a workshop to promote Vietnamese tourism in Argentina.
During the event, representatives from travel companies showed interest in launching new tourism products to Viet Nam.
Joining the event, they wanted to seek information about Viet Nam’s land, people, tourism sites and products and opportunities to set up ties with Vietnamese partners to send Argentinean tourists to the country.
Representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina briefed on the main features of the country’s history, and its diversified culture with UNESCO- recognised heritage and tourism potential.
During the event, a short film on Viet Nam’s land, people and economic achievements in recent years was shown.
The country has thrived to become an attractive destination for Argentinean holiday-makers. In 2014, 10,000 Argentinean tourists arrived to Viet Nam.
Viet Nam welcomed more than 5,000 Argentinean travellers so far this year, a rise of 20% against the same period last year.
