Vietnam Airlines allows online boarding passes

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced it will deploy a new service to facilitate passengers with online boarding passes since June 25.

Accordingly, passengers can bring boarding passes printed or displayed on a mobile device (that they had performed beforehand via the web check-in) to the security-check gate without having to go through check-in counters at airports.

The new service is available to passengers without checked baggage traveling on domestic flights departing from the international airports of Noi Bai (Hanoi), Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City).

Passengers can choose their own seats with the online check-in service.

After completing online procedures, passengers must present their boarding passes and IDs at security checks.

The online check-in must be done at least two hours before the flight departure time.
