U17s set to show their skills at national football finals

HA NOI (VNS) — The National U17 Football Championship Final will kick off in HCM City today.

Eight teams have passed the qualification round and will join the hosts, HCM City, in the tournament.

They are divided into two teams to play at Thong Nhat and District 8 stadiums, according to a recent press briefing held in Ha Noi.

Participants will compete in a round robin format in the group stage and two best teams will advance to the semi-finals.

Winners will be awarded VND100 million (US$4,500). The organisers of the event will present bonuses for the best player, best scorer, and best goalie.

The opening, semi-final, and final matches will be aired live on VTV3 channel. — VNS
