Minister Tuan Anh in turn said Russia has increasingly enhanced relations with Asia-Pacific countries, including Vietnam.

Vietnam esteems the traditional ties with Russia and pays great effort to develop the comprehensive strategic partnership with the country, Anh affirmed.

2015 witnesses many bilateral important events between Vietnam and Russia, particularly the signing of the free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which created a strong motive for spurring trade and investment between Vietnam and EEC member countries, particularly Russia.
