VGP – Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh and Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Affairs Pham Xuan Son were presented with the Russian Friendship Order at a ceremony to mark Russia’s 25th National Day in Ha Noi on June 11.
The distinction reflected Russia’s recognition of the officials’ contributions to the bilateral ties.
At the event, Russian Ambassador to Viet Nam Konstantin Vasilievich Vnukov confirmed that Russia continues to support and cooperate with Viet Nam in all fields.
Viet Nam attaches importance to the traditional relations with Russia and will do its utmost to consolidate and promote the comprehensive strategic partnership relations between the two sides, affirmed Minister Anh.
This year witnesses a number of bilateral important events between Viet Nam and Russia, particularly the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
