On the 125th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (19/5/1890 – 19/5/2015) and celebrating the International Museum Day and the Day of Science and Technology of Vietnam (18/5), a signing ceremony of MOU on the co-operation between VNMH and HRCC and a seminar on technology application on museum exhibition will be held in Hue City. It will be attended by Cultural Heritage Department of MOCST, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thua Thien Hue province, national and local museums and relics in Hue and Central provinces.

1. The signing of the MOU on the co-operation between VNMH and HRCC aims to consolidate and strengthen the traditional co-operation and relationship between two parties. It will focus on the expertise exchange and co-operation on research, study, conservation and promotion of cultural heritage in Hue Relics and Nguyen Dynasty and related cultural issues.

2. The seminar “Application of modern technology on museum exhibition” aims to raise the awareness and highlight the important role of state- of- the- art technology in museum operation and management, in particular, in museum exhibition and attracting visitors.

It will make assessments on the present situation of scientific and technological application in exhibition of museums and relics in Vietnam. Highlighting the results and experiences and disadvantages and difficulties that museums are facing. Then presenting orientations and solutions to increase the quality and effectiveness of exhibitions and luring customers through application of technology.
