Viettel donates scholarships to poor studious students

On 7 April, Quang Ngai Viettel held a ceremony to donate scholarships (VND 1 million each) to poor students in Tu Nghia district and Quang Ngai city. ​

These scholarships are in the program “for studious students” launched by Viettel to give 770 poor studious students in mountainous disadvantaged communes and coastal poor communes across the province.

Reportedly, the program “for studious students” was set up in 2004 under the cooperation agreement between Viettel and the Ministry of Education and Training with a message “Small wishes need good deed” and since then, over ten thousands of studious students have reached this program.

In 2015, the program will prioritize students from 2,331 disadvantaged communes in the program 135 and 311 coastal poor communes across the country.
