Viettel debuts new services

PANO – The military-run telecom group Viettel on April 20th launched new products in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th) and 140th anniversary of the International Labor Day (May 1st).

Accordingly, customers can download the free anti-virus software Phonesafe at http://bit.ly/1Dz48ay that can scan for viruses and give warnings if it finds threats. The software provides safe web browsing and anti-theft, lock application and copy list services.

The group also announced its first over-the-top (OTT) application Mocha Messenger, with unique features like voice sticker and high-quality copyright music storage Keeng, apart from free messaging. Viettel will give free 3G data for using Keeng for two months when the application is installed.

In addition, Viettel also grants free 7,000 simcards for mobile phones called “nice numbers” a day for those shopping at its shops nationwide from April 30th to May 6th.

Especially, from April 21st to 27th, the company will randomly present VND 10,000 to its 304,000 lucky subscribers’ bonus balances.
