The PPC's Vice Chairman Le QUang Thich speaks at the press meeting
The information was released at the press meeting chaired by the provincial People’s Committee Le Quang Thich on March 03 in Ba To district to inform the activities before and during the event.
Accordingly, from 07 to 11 March, a lot of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Ba To Revolutionary (11 March 1945 – 11 March 2015) will be organized including writing contest with the theme “To learn about the Ba To Revolution”, “Achievements on socio-economic development, security and defense, Party building work, army and people of Ba To district”; ethnic minorities traditional Culture-Art Festival; football game and volleyball game at provincial level; art photo exhibition about Ba To district; etc.
The district will let off fireworks at the district’s town in the evening of March 10.
On March 11 morning, before the official ceremony, the provincial and district leaders will pay tribute to the district martyr’s cemetery and offer flowers at the Ba To Revolutionary Statue.
The 70th anniversary of Ba To Revolutionary and receive 3rd level Independence Medal ceremony will be held on March 11 with the participation of around 5,000 people and will be telecasted live in VTV1 and PTQ.
At the press meeting, Vice Chairman of the PPC Le Quang Thich stressed that the anniversary is a very important event of Quang Ngai province in general and Ba To district in particular, so the press agencies should focus on propagandizing related activities of the event to the local people.
Besides, the organization board of the anniversary ceremony has to collect opinions and ideas of press agencies in order to organize the event effectively and successfully.
