Hanoi opens ancient quarter cultural exchange center Related image(s)







The opening ceremony for the Hanoi Ancient Quarter Cultural Exchange Center took place at 50 Dao Duy Tu, Hoan Kiem district, on February 2nd to celebrate the 85th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd).

With the aim of popuplarizing and preserving valuable heritage, the center is a project within the cooperation framework between Hanoi and Toulouse ity (Republic of France) on preserving the heritage of area.


On an area of 458 m², the center brings traditional architecture and is imbued specific feature of Hanoi ancient quarter. Visitors to the center will study the preservation and value of the tangible and intangible assets in Hanoi ancient quarter, contributing to popularizing the area..

The center will meet the demand of people in Hanoi ancient quarter. It will be a place of cultural exchange with people from other regions in the country and from around the world. Cultural activities will be held at the center to introduce the history and development of Hanoi’s ancient quarter./.
